Goddess Card Reading

Goddesses are powerful women, so readings should be done using a goddess deck of cards when you want to receive blunt truth.  If you ask a question, you will receive a simple answer; there is no guessing required.  However, the goddess cards can also be used for seeking support and guidance.  (I use the Doreen Virtue Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards when doing my goddess readings.)

One of the most basic readings you can do is to simply ask which goddess is with you right now.  Shuffle the deck, pull a card and then research the goddess if you are unfamiliar with her.

This was today's reading:

Although there are two cards shown, only one was pulled from the deck while the other was a jumper.  Occasionally, while shuffling the deck, a card may seem to shoot out of the deck of its own force.  This is not the same as accidentally dropping a few cards; you will actually see this card fly out of the deck.  These cards are jumper cards so, when this happens, do not put the card back into the deck, but set it aside and use it for further information on your reading.

The goddess card that I pulled, Ostara, stands for fertility.  She is here to assure you that now is the time to start something new; any new venture that you are interested in can begin at this time.  The fertility can be of any nature: reproductive, creative, spiritual, etc.  Call upon Ostara to assist you, support you, and reassure you.  If you are unfamiliar with Ostara, think of Easter, springtime, fresh starts and new life.

The second goddess card was Athena (yes, that Athena!), as a symbol of wisdom: your own inner wisdom.  Athena reminds you that you already have the knowledge that you need.  Feel free to call upon her for help, but believe that you know everything that you need to know right now.  If you are struggling with that, meditate and listen to what you subconscious is telling you.  (Those who are familiar with Doreen Virtue's Messages From your Angels deck may recognize Athena from there.)  As Athena was a  jumper, she supports the message from Ostara, meaning that all the information for a new venture is on hand.  No searching or investigating outside of yourself is required before moving forward.
