Five Card Career Reading

I was recently consulted by someone, whom we shall refer to as Sally, wanting advice and insight into their career options.  She had already decided that they wanted to leave their current job, but had no idea what other work she might be interested in.  Sally felt that, if she didn't make a plan before leaving her job, she would end up doing the same work for another company.  She wanted to know what she should do next.  Her reading is below:

Goddess Card Reading

Goddesses are powerful women, so readings should be done using a goddess deck of cards when you want to receive blunt truth.  If you ask a question, you will receive a simple answer; there is no guessing required.  However, the goddess cards can also be used for seeking support and guidance.  (I use the Doreen Virtue Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards when doing my goddess readings.)

One of the most basic readings you can do is to simply ask which goddess is with you right now.  Shuffle the deck, pull a card and then research the goddess if you are unfamiliar with her.

Looking Ahead Spread: Analyzing Your Situation

One of the readings that I often find myself doing is a looking ahead spread.  This simple three card spread gives you insight into your current situation, as well as what is coming up for you immediately, and three months from now.  You can also extend your outlook beyond three months by pulling more cards.  Each card that you pull is an additional three month time period.

I generally use Doreen Virtue's Messages from Your Angels deck, although I will use other decks from time to time, depending on the situation and whom I am doing the reading for.
